Marketing veteran Christoph Weber, previously with Bitburger, assumes the marketing role at FHCS, the manufacturer of Vileda products.
Christoph Weber is set to join the FHCS team, taking on the role of steering global marketing for the consumer brands portfolio of the company. Weber brings with him over 17 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, having worked in both Germany and the UK before joining FHCS.
Weber spent 14 years in various national and international marketing roles at Mars, where he oversaw brands like Snickers, Dove/Galaxy, M&Ms, and Wrigley's Extra. Prior to his time at Mars, he worked as Global CMO at Bitburger Braugruppe.
In his new role at FHCS, Weber will be responsible for brand communication, sales capabilities, and global product development for brands such as Vileda, O-Cedar, Oates, Marigold, Wettex, Gala, and Gimi. These brands are part of FHCS's portfolio, which includes some of the world's most popular cleaning brands.
Karin Overbeck, CEO of FHCS, expressed her excitement about Weber joining the company. She expects fresh insights from Weber in branding, digitalization, innovations, and rejuvenating their brands. Weber reports directly to Overbeck.
Sebastian Hofmann has taken on the role of President Professional within FHCS. With the addition of Weber to the team, FHCS continues to strengthen its leadership, particularly in the consumer goods sector.
It's worth noting that Vileda is one of the few billion-dollar brands in the global FMCG market under FHCS. Weber's role at FHCS involves holistic brand building, digitalization, go-to-market initiatives, and product innovations.
This announcement was first published in "Campaign Germany". Weber's extensive experience in FMCG and brand building, coupled with his expertise in global strategy and operational management, will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of FHCS's consumer brands portfolio.
Weber is looking forward to being part of the FHCS team and contributing to the company's growth and development.
