In the world of American football, players are constantly under the watchful eye of their coaches, and Kansas City Chiefs' Mecole Hardman is no exception. The wide receiver, who was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft, recently found himself on the receiving end of some constructive criticism from Rich Bisaccia, the special teams coordinator of an unspecified team.

The incident occurred during a practice session, as Bisaccia commented on Hardman's performance, per Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The criticism stemmed from a mistake Hardman made, trying to make a big play too early, according to Bisaccia. The coach believed that the best decision for the player would have been to make the play that was there, or to make a fair catch or let the ball go into the end zone.

Hardman, who signed a one-year contract worth $1.5 million with the Green Bay Packers in March, found himself in hot water once again when his release from the team was announced. The move will cost the Packers $150,000 in dead money, offset somewhat by the $150,000 in guaranteed money that was part of Hardman's contract.

Through 80 games, Hardman has amassed 2,302 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. Before joining the Packers, he spent three seasons with the Chiefs, where he made a significant impact on the team's offensive strategy.

The NFL, initially established as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) in an unspecified year, and later renamed the National Football League (NFL) in 1922, has been a platform for Hardman's career. His journey in the league began when he was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft.

As Hardman navigates this latest challenge in his career, he will undoubtedly draw on the lessons learned from his time with the Chiefs and the Packers, striving to improve and continue making a mark in the NFL.
